Books Outside Program

A fun outdoor book distribution event program to promote the value of reading, nature, and playing outside.

A great way to raise literacy awareness and promote reading!

This family-friendly community event aims to encourage elementary students
to read, develop an interest in STEM, and play outside and enjoy nature.

We will distribute 1,000 copies of the award-winning, nature and STEM-themed children's book, "Bronson Beaver Builds a Robot", to elementary students throughout the KC metro.

Kids who attend will receive a free author-signed book, a healthy snack, and a drink.
They'll also have a chance to win prizes when they engage in reading, writing, and nature play activities connected to the book.

The fun takes place at Meadowbrook Park, located in northeast Johnson County
on Saturday, September 3rd from 10am-1pm
